'Frog Eye Orinoco' plants grow about five feet tall producing about sixteen good leaves per plant. The leaves average about fifteen inches wide by two feet long. Flue-cures to a light brown color sometimes have specks on the leave
that look similar to a frog's eye.
Historically used for cigarettes, as well as for pipe and cigar filler blends.
'Frog Eye Orinoco' is one of several varieties derived in part from the original Virginia Orinoco. The original Virginia Orinoco is one of the oldest varieties in existence and dates well prior to 1880.
