Although we take ever measure that we possibly can to insure our seed is of the highest quality, it is necessary for us to require that you read, understand, agree to the policies pertaining to the purchase of watermelon seed.  By ordering watermelon seed from us, you are agreeing that you have read and understand our policy on Watermelon Fruit Blotch. Background Information:

Watermelon fruit blotch (WFB), Acidovorax avenae subsp. citrulli, is a serious disease that has become a significant risk in the area of watermelon cultivation. The pathogen causing WFB can be introduced into a field by infested seed, infected transplants, volunteer watermelon, mechanical means, or natural spread from alternate hosts.

Please note that there are no known or inherent problems with our seed.  Testing for WFB is an expensive and inaccurate process and not feasible for the small lots we grow ourselves.

This waiver process has become industry standard and is necessary for protecting our organization.  Thank you for your understanding.

Please view, print out and sign the release form below and mail along with your seed order or if ordering directly from our website please mail in the release form as soon as possible, under no circumstance will a watermelon seed order containing 1 ounce and higher or watermelon seed orders with a seed count of 250 seeds and higher be shipped until we have received a signed release form.
