Yellow Orinoco is a
derived strain of tobacco from the original Orinoco (Virginia
Orinoco) which is one of the oldest varieties still in existence
dating back to the 1700's.

stands up well; principally for plug work and smokers; sweetest
variety grown. Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, West
Virginia, Missouri. (Primary grown areas) Pre 1880 variety."
