Lazy Housewife, introduced around 1810, received its name due to it being the first snap bean that did not require the task of removing the strings. Pods are straight measuring about 5-6" long with shiny white seeds. A real good producer and will continue producing until frost. Lazy Housewife can be used as a green snap bean or dry shell bean.
