80 - 85 days, indeterminate. This is an old variety, extremely productive, and great for canning, paste, or sauces. Paste type fruit are about 5 1/2 in length, very meaty and weigh around 5 ounces. Fruit shape can be somewhat variable. Most fruit are shaped like a plump banana pepper, although some may look more like an elongated pear. Plants are attractive with a wispy, fern like appearance while still giving good fruit protection. Packet contains 25-30 seeds.
