Cigar Wrapper Type Tobacco
"Historical uses for Cigar Filler tobacco were for cigar filler, as well as for cigar wrapper and binder tobacco."

Connecticut Shade

The plants can reach eight feet in height with leaves that are light green colored averaging a foot wide by eighteen inches long. When shade grown, the leaves are finer, larger, and more elastic than if they are grown in the full sun producing some of the finest cigar wrappers.

'Connecticut Shade' was historically grown under trees and used as cigar binder tobacco, as well as for cigar wrappers and filler.

My seed originated from USDA accession number PI 552621
